One of the telephone queries I have to field on a semi-regular basis is desperate car owners telling me “I want to sell my car but I haven’t got a clue where to start!” Well if that’s you then you are clearly not alone by any means. When it comes to selling or part-exchanging their existing car it seems that many people are racked with fear and trepidation. The thought of fielding calls from prospective buyers and entertaining strangers at their front door is just too daunting a prospect. As a result they end up settling for far less than their car is truly worth just because they “don’t want the hassle”. What they don’t know is that if the process is done the right way, like a professional with attention to the “3p’s” preparation, presentation and price then they may only have to show their car to one person…their buyer!
