Getting Rid Of My Old Car For A New One

This Toyota car came to me on my 19th birthday. I was hoping for something better than this to be honest.  My friends had been on gift days, driving high performance cars for a day.  I’d have preferred that than this beast of burden.  It was from the late 70′s and was a real mess. This fuel gulping monster burned a quart of oil every 100 miles it travels, yet passed all the emissions test and the starter of the vehicle also wasn’t very reliable.

So, I have to park it uphill to roll it down the hill and it was terrible to see people watching me. One day, while rolling it down a steep road on a hill, on which a truck was parked half way downhill, I thought I would make it before the truck, and I succeeded. But suddenly a brand new grey-blue Chevy Silverado sped by my vehicle while I was looking to overtake the parked truck and I lost my balance of the vehicle and myself. My car slid out of the way while trying to apply the breaks and avoid the truck. I smashed the sidewalk of the road and fence but luckily landed on some bushes by the road which saved my life. People gathered there and looked at me in surprise and astonishment, many thanking God for not inuring myself seriously. I could not find the other car but more interesting I got rid of that old car and got a pretty good 90 model Toyota car with high performance.
